Spare Parts are small, square shaped orange and black kits that can be found scattered around Venezuela. They are featured in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames and are the equivalent to the national treasures, listening posts, WMD blueprints and monuments from Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.
There are a total of 100 located throughout the game world. Some are easily found just lying besides buildings, billboards and areas with lots of people, however some are more remote and found out of the way deep in the Amazon or deep inside hostile islands.

Glitch
- There is a common bug that can happen with spare parts. Sometimes after acquiring one (usually around 30), after restarting the game and driving past the area where the kit was located, the player will acquire it again. Sometimes this adds to their total count, sometimes it does not, which means the player could have over 100 total kits and be able to unlock shop items without having to find all of the spare parts.
- Another glitch is that sometimes after beating the game, the player can drive by an area and - without even seeing the part - it will count it towards their part count and they will earn money. Though, the next time the game is played, it will erase the part and the money earned. It can then drive by the same exact place to get it again.
