The Forklift is a civilian vehicle that was cut from Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, later appearing in the PlayStation 2 version of Mercenaries 2.
Overview[]
It is used by civilians to lift heavy cargo. It can be found in most industrial sections and seaports on the map.
Despite the vehicle being used to lift cargo, the player cannot use the Forklift to lift objects. It is rather slow and can be very easily destroyed by small arms fire and explosives. When moving at top speed it has terrible turning and handling, though at slow speeds it has an incredibly sharp turn radius.

Trivia[]
- The Forklift's description is an exact copy of the Baggage Carrier vehicle from Mercenaries, except that the word "airport" is replaced with "warehouse."
- In Mercenaries, the Forklift is not featured and was cut from the game before release, though an entry for it still exists in the Prima official game guide and it can be accessed and driven within a test area using hacks.
- Presumably, this version of the forklift is the same as what would have been included in the first game.
