Ji An, also known as the Jack of Diamonds, is a Korean People's Army artillery and supergun development expert during the events if Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

Overview[]
An can be verified during the third mission, 'Master of None', for the South Koreans when hunting the diamonds. You will have to destroy all the artillery pieces inside The Black Gate. If you can hijack or buy a North Korean MD-500 Scout use the gatling guns to destroy the artillery pieces and any nearby trucks or jeeps in, you choose to do so. Alternatively, there are LHX Light Attacks parked at Ichon airfield which can be freely taken.
After destroying all the artillery pieces Fiona will give you an update on your map, then head up to the top of the hill at the back of the Black Gate. You have to destroy the Type-07 Prototype Supergun for the Jack to come out. The supergun is hardened and can only be destroyed with either a bunker buster or cruise missile, fortunately Buford provides you with a cruise missile for free.
There is a jammer behind the supergun that you will need to destroy in order to call in the air strike. Call in the missile and step back a bit. After the missile destroys the gun and says objective complete, An will come out armed with a light machine gun. Take out any soldiers in the area, then take him down whatever way you choose and verify him. Note that on the road leading up to the hill there are soldiers armed with RPGs that will shoot your extraction chopper down if not dealt with first.
